A message from the artist:

The project is about London’s cars that have been badly repaired by their respective owners.  A beautiful Bentley and a ruined old van directly from the 70’s are both fixed in the same way: roughly with some insulating tape, or painted in a very unrefined way.  What really catches my attention is that both expensive and inexpensive cars share the same “mended” look.  From the brightness of the financial district to the darkness under a bridge next to Poplar, it is interesting to see in this tiny detail the abolishment of the gap between social classes – the tape becomes the gatherer of different people from different backgrounds and social classes.
