I got super sick last week so spent most of my time resting and watching Netflix in bed (my friend told me about downloading the Netflix app on my phone - best. thing. ever.).  And so I got really into The Killing and finished 4 seasons in a week. What can I say.  When I commit, I commit. Anyway, the series is incredible.  It's one of those shows that makes you want to cry and eat your body weight in maple bacon donuts from Cartems when it's over. If I wasn't so sick, I probably would have self-induced diabetes as a countermeasure to my post-Killing depression. What I'm trying to say is: why the fuck was the show cancelled?!  1-900-LINDEN, man. As always, I'm overreacting to TV problems but seriously. Someone needs to fix this.

It's been a crazy week!  We finally had a shoot that we've been planning for a month and a half and it never ceases to amaze me how talented the creative community is here.  I honestly have to say that I've been super lucky to be surrounded by so many driven and passionate young creatives in the city.  And not just Vancouver, but working on CREEP has given me the opportunity to work with some of the most amazing people all around Canada and the world.  From Lamont, Laura, Josh, Aaron, and Michelle in Toronto, to Katie and Ryan in California, to Ronald in NY, to Kiraly in London, to Balint in Prague, our group of contributors and editors has grown so much in a year and I could not feel more hashtag-blessed (lawl sorry 'bout it).  Thank you so much to all the amazing people that have helped CREEP grow - I would still be sadly lurking on the internet without you guys <3 Also,  I had a bacon whiskey donut this week.  PEACE & LOVE.

I really don't know what it is about "Cool for the Summer", but I literally go apeshit every time I hear that song.  Good apeshit, not bad apeshit.  So I couldn't resist putting a remix on this week's TGIF playlist.  I was also on vacation this week so I've kind of fallen into a self-deprecating habit of drinking a double vodka soda everyday.  Monday is going to be horrible so have a good fucking weekend.
